Jim Drewitz's (pronounced Dra-witz) career has been all advertising, starting as a copywriter at Bloom working on beer, homebuilders, car dealers and cleaners. Glenn Advertising - now Temerlin-McClain - hired him to work on a variety of consumer products - food, healthcare, travel. After several years with Glenn, he started Jim Drewitz Advertising. For over 17 years, Drewitz Advertising provided hard-hitting, results oriented advertising and public relations for a variety of large and small clients. After a two year stint on the corporate side as Advertising Manager for Peterbilt Motors, Drewitz left and established Creative Options Advertising - catering to a small group of advertising, public and investor relations clients.

     
   

David Drewitz
President - Dallas Office

15 plus years of marketing, communications experience - in the corporate business world and creative and account service side in the advertising agency segment. Extensive experience in campaign conceptualizing, marketing, branding and brand management, corporate communications, media strategy/planning, and public relations. Extremely successful working with companies focused on Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer.

Directs and manages integrated and vertical strategic marketing, advertising and corporate communication plans and tactics for mid-size and small clients.

     

Darren Drewitz
Account Director

As the account director at Creative Options Communications, Darren oversees strategic planning, creative development and overall account management. His extensive background includes 15 years of delivering strategic and integrated marketing solutions for the corporate and agency worlds.

Serving as the Creative Services Manager for Pizza Inn, Inc. and Marketing Manager for Exel Global Logistics, a $7 billion-year international company, Darren gained experience in managing and executing national and international brands.

Spending equal time with some of Dallas / Forth Worth’s best advertising agencies, Darren has directed a variety of accounts in the building, logistics, sports entertainment, food, tourism and franchised-based industries.

At Creative Options Communications, Darren is responsible for managing the creative and strategic implementation and delivery of clients’ business objectives.

Darren holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of North Texas.

     

Jed Jones
Director, Interactive & Internet Marketing

Jed Jones, Ph.D. holds a B.A. in Japanese Studies from UCLA, an M.B.A in Marketing from The Paul Merage Business School at UC Irvine, and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Saybrook Graduate School and Research Center.

Jed is the master of the "long tail" approach to interactive marketing. Everything Creative Options does involves identifying multiple super-narrow, super-rich target market niches and then driving traffic to your Web site, blog or landing pages by using the right keywords and crafting the right messaging to attract the most lucrative, most loyal customers.

Marcia Drewitz
Traffic & Accounting

Marcia has 15+ years experience in advertising and public relations, working with a variety of clients. She is responsible for coordinating and trafficking projects, creating time lines, monitoring work flow in each phase of a project, as well as accounts payable and receivable.

     
James Ballard
Art Director

James has over 16 years of experience in advertising as a leader, mentor, art director and designer. He has helped companies develop comprehensive branding campaigns, launch new products and create breakthrough, effective advertising.

He most recently held senior management positions for Circle R Group and TracyLocke where he led creative teams, consulted with strategic partners and streamlined processes. Previously, he held Art Director positions at agencies in Dallas and Michigan. James has a BFA in Design Communications from Texas Tech University.

Throughout his career, he has developed ad campaigns for Fortune 100 companies to regional and local accounts including: Radioshack and its many strategic partners (including Sprint, Verizon, DISH, SIRIUS, Motorola, Samsung, Nokia, HP and Monster Cable) Pizza Hut, Pepsi, American Airlines, Harrah's Casino's, Verizon, Gaylord Hotels, and a variety of other retail and business accounts.

James currently lives with his wife, Kim, and their two children, Garrett and Haley, in the DFW area.
